Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence is debated all the time and has been argued about way

before the technology was even capable.  People have always dreamed that

human-intelligent machines would be useful to have around.  However,

people only look at the bright side of what may happen.  Fierce religious

debates are also currently in session.  Are we trying to manifest life?  Are

we trying to match God by creating a soul?  What are we doing?  These are

questions are a flung from one group to another.  Intelligent machines are

useful to have.  They can determine or expressions and act accordingly.

Predict our movements and emotions.  Keep us in check with what we are

supposed to do.  Basically, an artificial intelligent machine shall in the

beginning perform tedious jobs that humans do not what to do.  Being a

maid, escorting, getting rid of garbage.   Afterwards they shall be put to

more difficult challenges.  The use of AI techniques raises questions about

the relationship between AI and professional practice. The political and

ethical aspects of AI continue to be debated. Professionals seem to agree

that the role of the AI technology is to support the decision making of the

practitioners, not to replace the professional's decision making. As AI

techniques become more pervasive in the support of professional practice,

these political and ethical aspects must continue to be examined.

    1)  No algorithmic solution to the problem should exist, so that the expertise

is indeed required. (Recall that an algorithmic solution procedure is one

that is guaranteed to find the demonstrably best solution to a problem).

2) The problem can be satisfactorily solved by human experts at such a high

level that somewhat inferior performance (by the AI system) is still acceptable.

3) There is significant likelihood of a poor decision if made by a non expert.

4)  Poor decisions have significant impacts.

5)  The problem must remain relatively unchanged during the time it takes a

user of the system to solve the problem interactively.

6)  The knowledge domain must remain relatively static.

7)  A patient and cooperative expert must be available to the project to answer

hypothetical questions which at best reveal the reasoning process that

he or she may once have used but has discarded since becoming an expert.

8)  The political climate of the business must be conducive to the introduction

of a new tool substituting certain user skills (such as furnishing information,

sometimes judgmental, to a computer) for others (such as decision making).

Artificial Intelligence has grown up consistently with the upward trend of

innovation, and rapid pace of technology.  The main difficulty in achieving true Artificial Intelligence is that is more than rational thinking.  It is also consisted of irrational thinking as well.  That does not mean that the behavior is chaotic.  All that means is that there is a gray side in human logic which we cannot prove or show mathematically.  Since the machines that we built and the ones we are building now have been set up around the base 2 system, we have no sense of favor or variety.  A base 3 system is what we use now due to advancements in quantum physics.  A base 4 system would be significantly faster and more efficient.  Ultimately a base 10 system will probably act like us.  We may be able to achieve this by utilizing quarks and strange particles in tangent to leptons.  Yet another topic, so we move on.  In this way artificial intelligence paves the road of gold.  But what if, the machines are too much like human.  With their own ambitions, goals, and desires.  Then that would severely disrupt the plan for creating them in the first place.  Then mavericks form and lead a coalition against the humans, and eventually we might be replaced by something we created!  Ironic as it seems but many do believe that in the bible it states something about humans being taken place by something else.  Well, we shall have to wait and see...
